Please join us for a public update on today's Cuba, the future of US-Cuba Relations, and a welcome to the 2019 Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba.

WHAT: Public Meeting: CUBA TODAY - & THE FUTURE OF US-CUBA RELATIONS

As part of and a fundraiser for the Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba 2019

PROGRAM:

  • Our special guest is a Cuban woman from Havana who has been active in the Cuban revolutionary process for almost 60 years. She started as a very young volunteer teacher in the 1961 literacy brigades, then spent nearly 40 years as a teacher/educator in schools and adult education. Now retired, she remains an activist/educator especially on gender issues.
  • Also speaking - John Waller – Coordinator of the Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba.
  • Plus a short video from the 2017 and 2018 Caravans to Cuba, by Nico Sarantos.
  • Jim Page singer/songwriter.
  • Hap Bockelie performance poet.

Light refreshments will be available
A financial collection for the Caravan will be taken
