* The event was a big success, with 35 participants at the 11am picket and 22 vehicles on the 12 noon car caravan. *

From Miami, to New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, on the last Sunday of the month, pickets and Car Caravans of Cuban Americans and their allies are calling for an end to all aspects of the 60 year old U.S. economic blockade of Cuba!

On Sunday, February 28, 2021 the Seattle Cuba Friendship Committee, along with local Cuban Americans, will join the actions around the country.

GATHER and DECK OUT cars with signs!
Meet 11am on Sunday Feb 28th at the Rainier Arts Center parking lot at 3515 S Alaska St. (near the SW corner of Alaska St. & Rainier Ave. S.)
Overflow parking available at Rainier Community Center 4600 38th Ave S.

PICKET for about an hour at the corner of Rainier Ave S. & S. Edmunds St., 1 block South of Rainier Arts Center.

Then at 12 noon, CAR CARAVAN!

We will be wearing masks and socially distancing. If you have concerns about COVID safety it is fine to join us just for the car caravan.
Event will end at 1pm.
