On May 29 and May 30, 2024, Cuban Ambassador to the United States Lianys Rivera Torres and Cuban Embassy Second Secretary David Rivera Alvarez visited Seattle. They were welcomed to the Emerald City and held several meetings with the community, public officials and civic and labor organizations.
